Treasured Pieces offers handmade press-on nails, jewellery, accessories and related products.

Because many of our products are handmade, minor variations between individual items may occur. These natural variations are part of the handmade nature of the product and do not necessarily constitute a defect.

Product photographs are intended to represent each item as accurately as reasonably possible. Screen settings, lighting and photography may cause slight differences in colour or appearance.

Prices & currency

All prices displayed on the Treasured Pieces website are in South African Rand (ZAR).

Any applicable taxes will be handled in accordance with the information displayed during the ordering and checkout process.

Prices may be changed from time to time. A price change will not ordinarily affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for, except where an obvious pricing or technical error has occurred.

Order confirmation

An order is only considered confirmed once the required payment has been successfully received or otherwise approved through the available checkout method.

Treasured Pieces reserves the right to cancel or decline an order where reasonably necessary, including because of:

• Stock availability
• An obvious pricing or website error
• Payment verification problems
• Suspected fraudulent or unauthorised activity
• Incomplete information required to prepare a custom order

Where an order is cancelled after payment has been received, any approved refund will be handled in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Custom orders & measurements

Customers placing a custom press-on nail order are responsible for providing accurate measurements, sizing information, design selections and other requested customisation details.

Treasured Pieces will prepare the product according to the information supplied and agreed upon for the order.

Please check all measurements and customisation details carefully before submitting your order.

If an item has been correctly produced according to customer-supplied measurements or specifications, an incorrect customer measurement or selection would not ordinarily be considered a manufacturing defect.

Natural handmade variation

Handmade products may contain minor differences in positioning, finish, pattern or other small details when compared with another handmade item or a product photograph.

We take care to maintain the intended design and quality of each Treasured Pieces product.

Significant defects, incorrect products or damaged deliveries will be handled according to our Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable consumer law.

Availability

Product availability may change as items are sold, handmade, restocked or discontinued.

Adding a product to your cart does not necessarily reserve it. Availability is subject to the order being successfully completed.

Where we cannot fulfil a paid order, we will contact the customer and arrange an appropriate solution or refund.

Processing & delivery

Orders are prepared and processed during normal business days.

Custom-made products may require additional production time before dispatch.

Any processing or delivery estimates displayed on the website are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delivery may be affected by courier operations, location, public holidays, weather, service interruptions or circumstances outside the reasonable control of Treasured Pieces.

Customer delivery details

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information when placing an order.

Please check your delivery address, telephone number and other relevant details before completing checkout.

Additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete customer-supplied delivery information may remain the responsibility of the customer where permitted by law.

Caring for your Treasured Pieces

Products should be used, handled and cared for appropriately.

Damage resulting from misuse, incorrect application, improper storage, modification, unreasonable handling or failure to follow supplied product instructions may not constitute a product defect.

Press-on nail products should be applied and removed carefully and in accordance with any instructions provided with the product.

Returns, refunds & cancellations

Returns, refunds, damaged orders, incorrect products and order cancellations are governed by our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Custom-made and personalised products may be subject to different return or cancellation conditions because they are made specifically for the customer.

Using our website

You agree not to misuse the Treasured Pieces website or attempt to interfere with its security, checkout, customer accounts, ordering systems or normal operation.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our customers or Treasured Pieces from fraudulent, abusive or unlawful activity.

Your account

Where customer accounts are available, customers are responsible for keeping their login details secure and for providing accurate account information.

Our responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Treasured Pieces will not be responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control or from misuse of our products or website.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude liability or customer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.

Personal information supplied through the Treasured Pieces website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African data-protection requirements.

This includes information supplied for orders, customer accounts and custom nail sizing.
